Just another day in paradise...

I had to go to Target yesterday. Can I just tell you how much I love that store? If it was a person, I would have given it a Valentine. :0) It's been this way for years. Since my oldest was my youngests' age. When we went out to run errands he'd always say, "Are we going to OUR store?" Yes. We go there that much. I've tried to be better recently. And only go once a week. {You know it's become a problem when the people there know you} I don't know if it's better that way or this way. Spend a "little" a couple of times a week, or spend A LOT when you go once a week. I don't know. :0) They always just have the best stuff. And I just LOVE the dollar spot. We always take a little stop off there before we even get into the shopping. The kids love it because they know they'll usually be able to walk away with something.

Anyway...check out some of the "extras" that I got yesterday. I had 5 things on my list. I left with a cartfull.

Look at this super cute sparkly shirt I got for my daughter. All of the Valentine's Day stuff was on sale for 90% off! Seriously! This shirt cost me $.60. That cents! She is absolutely LOVIN' the sparkly heart. She has to show everyone. Including the contractor in the basement. I don't think he knew what to say to her. :0)
This is one of my dollar spot finds. Who does this look like to you? Any guesses? You Sesame Street moms out there know who this is. It's Elmo! It's just a hair scrunchie with his eyes and nose attached to part of it. When you wrap it around and around to get it in the hair...it becomes this cute little ball of fluffy fur...just like Elmo. My daughter loves him. How could I pass it up? And for $1.00?

I went into the office supply section to purchase a 3 ring hole punch for my school work binders. We have one....in a box...in the black hole of my garage. I need one NOW! I attempted to go out and find THE box it was in {the stapler is in their too and Jaysen's been needing it for when he brings his work home}, but it was buried. Completely. And the electrician needs the other half of the garage open to get to the electrical box. So, I can't rearrange out there to find it. Now you know.... :0) Anyway....I was thoroughly excited to find the Target Brand had put together a little office set that includes the hole punch AND stapler with paper clips, push pins, binder clips, and staples ALL together in one little kit! For $7.00! Yahoo! I snatched it up, and while I was doing so, daughter dear {who loves colored pens and markers like her mommy} found these pens. A whole rainbow of pens! The black one is currently in use by the previously mentioned daughter. 10 pens for $3! Couldn't pass these adorable things up could I? I'm putting them down as school supplies as well. I'll definitely need those for paper writing. Right?

Anyway...it went on like this through the store. I didn't do too horribly. Got a cute little basket full of smelly good things for sister who had baby. Lavendar scent. Relaxation! Love you sissy! Go take a bubble bath! Oh! And Jaysen's got a fun boy golfing trip he leaves on today...so he's definitely going to need snacks for the long 8 hour car ride to St. George right? So, let's see...salt and vinegar potato chips, Sour patch kids, and jerky....check!

You see? It's so bad for me to go in there. But I can't help myself. And, even though I just went yesterday...daughter got ahold of the kid shampoo while she took her bath this morning and now there is shampoo all over the walls in the tub. Sigh. I guess it's "clean" now right? So, now I have to go back to the store for tear free shampoo. I wonder what else I can find?

Love a good deal. 60 cents for a shirt? You can't beat that. I went to Costco today. That was my shopping thrill.
