Tee hee....

Since it was the day to be "tricky", I decided I'd try to pull one over on my family. :0) My entire family keeps telling the hubby and I that we're "supposed" to have another kid. For me, it's truly interesting how they have been so inspired about my little family. That they would KNOW that I'm supposed to have another one, or that I "should" have another is impressive. {she said sarcastically} I've explained to them numerous times that this will not happen and explained the reasons why.
I think they ignore me.
Yes, they have definitely chosen to be ignorant on this fact.
Anyway...since they are apparently DYING for me to have another baby...I gave them what they wanted. I sent out an email to my mom, my bro, and my sisters letting them know the great news! Yes, it's true family....I'm going to have that baby you told me I was "supposed" to have. {pat, pat on their backs...they were soooo right!}
My little sister caught on to what day it was and wasn't fooled. My mom had just dealt with my son at piano lessons telling her "there's something on your pants! April Fools!" He's so tricky, that one! So, my mom wasn't fooled either. BUT! My big sister, oh yeah....she totally fell for it. :0) Made my day. She replied to my email with a "I am sooooooo calling you later!" {she was at work}, so I emailed her back with just the picture above.
She wasn't pleased. She told me I wasn't very funny. I think I was hilarious!!!!! HA HA HA!
My bro never responded. Apparently he doesn't care about his sister. But that's ok Cam. Really...I'm fine. :0)
SO, I want to know what you did for April Fools Day! Were you tricky too? Any fabulous pranks that you would like to share? OR...did you have one pulled on you? Do share!

Too funny! I played that joke once before except it wasn't April Fools Day. It was one of those emails that ask you like 20 questions and you answer it randomly. One of the questions was: What is one secret you are keeping right now? I couldn't think of anything so without really thinking, I put down "I'm pregnant". Boy the responses I got. It's funny how when you do something like that, people come out of the woodwork. Too bad most caught onto you - still funny!

Great one!

Sam told me I had a spider on my head...other than that, it was about like any other day:-)

hi ashlee -- i think it is hilarious what you did and was especially amused that your big sister totally fell for it!

i sent my friend and coworker ~S an email that i really didn't get another job offer. she doesn't want me to move! i emailed that i made it up. gotcha. and i told all our coworkers, so they would be in on it. ~S didn't fall for it at all and then she called me a "nut job" and we all laughed. first time i had been called that before. tee hee. i said part of this in my post that you read, but i didn't say what the prank was. yours is way funnier :)

peace tonight girl, kathleen xo

I totally knew it was a joke. I didn't respond because I was going to email you back the next day to ask if you were still pregnant. But then I forgot. Sorry to ruin the fun.

Holly called me at work that morning to try and convince me that Austin's arm was broken with bones sticking out and everything. I didn't buy it because she just wasn't hysterical enough. If that had really happened, she would have had the SWAT team out there.

Even though I am not talking to you... I still think that you should be pregnant... Just look at Crystal's super cute baby! Besides I need to have babies vicariously through my sisters since its not really going to be happening for me. And...I was working on April Fools Day, not wandering around trying to trick people :o)

Nothing too exciting in the fools department here. Reagan switched pillows with Tyler and thought that was hilarious. Oh to be 6 again.
